Arsene Wenger compares Aaron Ramsey to Frank Lampard

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger compares Aaron Ramsey to Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he sees similarities between Aaron Ramsey and Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

The Wales international had scored 13 goals for the Gunners before a thigh injury saw him ruled out for the past three months, but he will return to action during tomorrow's Premier League match against Everton.

"The number of goals he has scored is tremendous for a midfielder", he told the club's official website. "He turns up in the box and he is a bit 'Lampardish'. He gets in the box at the right moment.

"He is cooler in his finishing now. Before, he always rushed his final ball and he was a bit nervous."

Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
