Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stated that he is surprised to see Leicester City performing as well as they have been this season.
The Foxes are currently top of the Premier League after 13 games, having lost just once under Claudio Ranieri since the Italian succeeded Nigel Pearson in the summer.
Leicester narrowly avoided relegation last season, but Wenger has stated that he saw something in them when they came up against his side.
"It is a surprise. Leicester fought not to go down last season but they won their last seven games," the Frenchman told Arsenal's official website.
"When we played against them last season at Emirates Stadium we came to the conclusion there is something special in this team already so overall they surprised everybody and congratulations to them."
Leicester, who are two points ahead of Arsenal in the standings, host Manchester United on Saturday.
