Arsene Wenger says that Santi Cazorla has assured him that he did not dive for the penalty against West Bromwich Albion, but still remains doubtful.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is not 100% sure if Santi Cazorla dived for the first penalty against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Frenchman says that the midfielder has assured him that there was contact with Steven Reid, because of which he "lost his balance".

"No [I haven't reviewed it]," said Wenger. "I am sorry if it was not a penalty but I have spoken to Santi and he said he has been touched and lost his balance.

"Maybe he made more of it, I don't know. But he told me just after I came to see you (journalists at the post-match press conference).

"I asked him the question because I knew you would ask me the question."

Mikel Arteta successfully converted that penalty in the first half and also scored from another spot kick in the second period to lead Arsenal to a 2-0 win at the Emirates.
