Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with bottom-of-the-table Norwich City.

Arsenal will seek to continue their recent winning form on Boxing Day when they visit rock-bottom Norwich City at Carrow Road.

After following up three Premier League victories by cruising past League One outfit Sunderland in the EFL quarter-final on Tuesday, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta confirmed that his squad had come through the game unscathed, and after introducing several fringe players in midweek, will now revert to a more familiar lineup.

Indeed, Arteta has named the same starting XI for four successive top-flight matches now - the first time Arsenal have done so in six years - and his selection on Sunday is likely to be relatively unchanged.

However, right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu was forced off against Leeds last week with a muscular injury and could be sidelined on Sunday, with Cedric Soares - who featured in midweek - on standby to deputise.

Calum Chambers, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Pablo Mari have been self-isolating due to COVID-19 infection, and Ainsley Maitland-Niles is expected to remain absent with an illness.

Still ostracised due to his disciplinary transgressions, captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to be cold-shouldered once again, as Alexandre Lacazette returns up front.

Despite his hat-trick against Sunderland, 22-year-old striker Eddie Nketiah will be back on the bench, though Emile Smith Rowe is pushing for a place in Lacazette's supporting cast.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; Soares, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette
