Gabriel Martinelli is handed a spot in the Arsenal XI as the Gunners prepare to face West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Gabriel Martinelli has been handed a spot in the Arsenal XI as the Gunners prepare to face West Ham United at the London Stadium in the Premier League.

The 18-year-old will make his first Premier League start of the campaign, but David Luiz is a notable absentee with Calum Chambers playing at the heart of the defence.

Mesut Ozil, Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are also in the XI as interim boss Freddie Ljungberg selects an attacking side at the home of West Ham.

As for the Hammers, Michail Antonio is passed fit after missing the clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, and the Englishman is preferred to Sebastien Haller in the final third.

Issa Diop is again on the bench with Fabian Balbuena starting alongside Angelo Ogbonna, while Pablo Fornals and Robert Snodgrass will feature in the wide positions.
