Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Arsenal return to Premier League action following the international break with a trip to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The Gunners entered the break on the back of a 1-0 success over Aston Villa in the West Midlands, with Bukayo Saka scoring the only goal of the contest.

At the time of writing, Mikel Arteta's men remain in the driving seat for Champions League football, with the Gunners still occupying fourth spot in the table and three points clear of Tottenham Hotspur, who have played a game more.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the showdown with the Eagles.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: April 4 (vs. Palace)

Takehiro Tomiyasu has been struggling with problems in both calves for a couple of months now, but Arteta affirmed that the right-back would be "close" for Monday's game, so he could very well make the bench if deemed fit enough.

Aaron Ramsdale

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: April 4 (vs. Palace)

Number one goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale sat out the win over Villa due to a hip injury, which also forced him to withdraw from the England squad, and Arteta is pessimistic about the 23-year-old's chances of being available here.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: April 4 (vs. Palace)

Bukayo Saka was another withdrawal from the England squad for March's friendlies after returning a positive COVID-19 test, but the attacker has now recovered and is back in training, so he should be available here.
