Arsenal 'join chase for RB Leipzig's Emil Forsberg'

Arsenal reportedly prepare to rival Atletico Madrid and Juventus for RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg's signature.

Arsenal have reportedly joined the chase to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg.

The Gunners have held talks with the Sweden international's representatives to discuss a potential move to the Emirates Stadium, according to SportExpressen.

The North London outfit are expected to face stiff competition for Forsberg's signature, with Atletico Madrid and Juventus also having been linked with summer bids.

Leipzig, meanwhile, are said to be keen to resist offers for the midfielder and are reportedly readying a new contract for him.

The report suggests that an offer of at least £45m would be required to sway the Bundesliga outfit.
