Report: Liverpool, Arsenal track Argentine starlet

Arsenal and Liverpool consider £12m January moves for highly-rated Villarreal striker Luciano Vietto, according to reports.

Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly weighing up January moves for highly-rated Villarreal starlet Luciano Vietto.

The 21-year-old is said to have courted interest from both Premier League giants after netting six times in as many games for the Spanish outfit.

Leicester City declined the offer to sign him for £3.5m in the summer after having reservations over his lack of experience in England.

However, Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers are willing to take the gamble and are considering £12m moves for the youngster, according to the Daily Mail.

Vietto, whose contract expires in 2019, is represented by Diego Maradona's former agent Jorge Cyterszpiler.
