Fabian Delph nearing Aston Villa return

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert reveals that Fabian Delph is expected to return from injury after the international break.

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has revealed that Fabian Delph should return from injury after the international break.

The midfielder has been sidelined for Villa's last two matches due to illness and a knee problem.

However, the 23-year-old is in line to make his comeback when the team travel to local rivals West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on November 25.

"I think Fabian will be okay for the West Brom game," Goal.com quotes Lambert as saying. "We have caught the international break at the right time."

Villa are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table following Saturday's 2-0 win over Cardiff City.
