Aston Villa's Charles N'Zogbia unlikely to return from injury for rest of season

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert says that Charles N'Zogbia is unlikely to return from an Achilles injury before the season is over.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has revealed that it is unlikely that Charles N'Zogbia will return to action before the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has been on the sidelines for the entire campaign so far after suffering an Achilles tendon injury during pre-season.

"He's still doing rehab," Sky Sports News quotes Lambert as saying. "Charles's injury is probably worse than Jores Okore's was and that's disappointing.

"It will be a big ask for Charles to come back this season because he's not had many games at all and that Achilles heel, as everybody knows, is a major issue."

Villa are currently 11th in the Premier League table with 10 games left to play.
