Carlos Sanchez happy with life at Aston Villa

Aston Villa midfielder Carlos Sanchez reveals that he is enjoying life at the club following his summer move from Elche.

Summer signing Carlos Sanchez has revealed that he is enjoying life at Aston Villa.

The Colombia international midfielder has made five appearances for the Villans this season following a £4.7m move from Elche.

While admitting that the speed of the Premier League initially took him by surprise, the 28-year-old is now feeling settled at Villa Park.

"I am now aware of the speed that is required. I'm training well and physically I feel good as part of the team," he told the club's official website. "I'm looking forward to playing again soon and as soon as I'm back on the pitch I know the tempo I'll need to play at.

"I'm feeling very good. I'm very happy and it is a great dressing room I have found. The staff are great and the club is organised very well. Everybody congratulated me when I joined and they are very happy to have me here. That was all I needed in order to feel happy about coming here."

Villa continue their Premier League campaign on October 18 when they face Everton at Goodison Park.
