Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has hinted that the Midlands club are willing to spend some cash in the summer transfer window.
The Premier League outfit reported losses of up to £54m last month, but the Scotsman has insisted that the Villa hierarchy will make funds available.
"I wouldn't rule [big fees] out," the Express quotes McLeish as saying. "Chief executive Paul Faulkner said to me not to just think that I can only bring in a free transfer."
Villa currently sit 15th in the league table with fixtures against Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool scheduled for the club's next three games.
