Team News: Mario Balotelli starts for AC Milan at Atletico Madrid

Mario Balotelli is passed fit to start AC Milan's Champions League last-16 second leg against Atletico Madrid.

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has been passed fit to start tonight's Champions League last-16 second leg against Atletico Madrid.

A shoulder injury has meant that the Italian hasn't started a game for three weeks since the first leg at the San Siro, which Atletico nicked 1-0 thanks to Diego Costa's late header.

He leads the line in front of Kaka and Adel Taarabt, while captain Riccardo Montolivo is missing.

For the home side, Costa is the main man up front as David Villa takes a spot on the bench, with Raul Garcia getting the nod.

Atletico: Courtois; Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Filipe; Koke, Gabi, Suarez, Turan; Raul Garcia, Costa
Subs: Aranzubia, Alderweireld, Insua, Cristian Rodriguez, Sosa, Diego, Villa

AC: Abbiati; Abate, Rami, Bonera, Emanuelson; Essien, De Jong; Poli, Kaka, Taarabt; Balotelli
Subs: Amelia, De Sciglio, Mexes, Zaccardo, Muntari, Robinho, Pazzini
