Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists that Falcao will remain at the club for another four years.

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has dismissed comments made by Falcao's father that his son wants to play for Real Madrid.

Radamel Garcia had claimed that his son was also close to a move to either Manchester City or Chelsea during the summer, but Cerezo has hit back at Garcia's comments and insisted that the Colombian international will remain at the Spanish club for years to come.

Cerezo told El Largeuro: "I do not give Garcia any importance. The player himself is not saying it so there is nothing wrong.

"A father can say whatever he wishes about his sons, but Falcao has clearly explained that he is happy and content at Atletico and will be here for four years."

Falcao netted a hat-trick last Friday as Atletico Madrid defeated Chelsea 4-1 in the European Super Cup final.
