Javier Mascherano reveals that Barcelona will not be underestimating BATE Borisov tomorrow evening.

Javier Mascherano believes that Barcelona would be foolish to underestimate BATE Borisov tomorrow evening.

The European champions head to Belarus on the back of a 2-2 draw with AC Milan in the Nou Camp last time out in the Champions League.

BATE are underdogs for the match but Argentine midfielder Mascherano insists that his side should take a cautious approach.

"When we play the lesser known teams then things can quickly become complicated for us," Mascherano told the press.

"[BATE] normally do well at home and we must not underestimate them.

"We never [underestimate teams], but we want to play to our strengths so we can try to get a good result."

BATE drew their opening group match with Viktoria Plzen 1-1.
