How Barcelona could line up against Slavia Prague

Ahead of Wednesday's Champions League fixture between Slavia Prague and Barcelona, Sports Mole looks at how the Catalan giants could line up in the Czech Republic.

Barcelona travel to the Czech Republic to take on Slavia Prague looking for their second successive win in the Champions League.

Despite conceding an early goal against Inter Milan at Camp Nou, two goals from Luis Suarez earned Barca a potentially-crucial victory in Group F.

The Catalan giants have now put together a run of five successive victories in all competitions, a return which has eased the pressure on manager Ernesto Valverde.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how Barcelona could line up for Wednesday's encounter at the Sinobo Stadium.

Doubtful Sergi Roberto (knee), Junior Firpo (muscular)

As a result of this weekend's El Clasico with Real Madrid being postponed, Valverde may feel that he can name a full-strength starting lineup.

Despite Ousmane Dembele now being available after injury, Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Suarez are expected to feature in the final third.

However, while the midfield three of Sergio Busquets, Arthur and Frenkie de Jong is also likely to remain the same, there will be alterations at the back.

A knee injury sustained against Eibar on Saturday leaves Sergi Roberto struggling to be available for this match, with his place in the team potentially going to Nelson Semedo.

Having served a domestic suspension at the weekend, Gerard Pique will also come back into the team, most likely as a replacement for Samuel Umtiti.
