Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo says that it will be "easier" for his side to face Barcelona on Saturday than Malaga last weekend.

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has claimed that it will be "easier" for his side to face Barcelona on Saturday than Malaga last weekend.

Atletico missed the chance to win La Liga after drawing 1-1 with Malaga on Sunday evening, but need just a point at the Camp Nou this weekend to pick up the title.

"It will be easier to play against Barcelona than Malaga, both for us and them (referring to Barca's fixture against Elche, which ended goalless)," Cerezo told SER Catalunya.

Atletico have not won the Spanish title in almost 20 years.
