Pep Guardiola: 'I'm not solution to Barcelona's problems'

Pep Guardiola says that he is "not the solution" to Barcelona's problems amid reports suggesting that the club want the Bayern Munich manager to return to the helm.

Former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has declared that he will not return to the club should Luis Enrique be sacked.

The 43-year-old spent four successful seasons at the Camp Nou, winning an array of trophies before moving onto pastures new with Bayern Munich.

Rumours have circulated in recent weeks suggesting that current Barca boss Enrique could be replaced at the helm, although Guardiola has ruled himself out of taking up the position again.

"I'm not the solution," he is quoted as saying by Spanish publication Mundodeportivo.

"There is a lot of great options and I'm sure the right people will make the right decisions to maintain Barca's spot as one of the greatest clubs in the world."

Enrique hinted this week that he would quit as manager of Barcelona should he stop receiving the full backing of his players.
