Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has claimed that his side will not win this season's La Liga title.

The Blaugrana are currently seven points behind leaders Real Madrid in the table after Saturday's 2-0 win at Sevilla.

However, Madrid can restore their 10-point advantage at the top with a win at home to Malaga on Sunday night.

"I would have liked to compete for this league title until the end, but I don't know if it will be possible," Guardiola told reporters. "There's another team that's managed to earn better results than we have.

"Forget it, we won't win this Liga."

Guardiola's future at the Nou Camp is still in doubt as he stalls over a new contract.
