Pele congratulates Neymar on Paris Saint-Germain move

Brazilian legend Pele congratulates compatriot Neymar on completing his world-record £200m move to Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona.

Brazilian legend Pele has congratulated compatriot Neymar on his world-record move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar triggered the €222m (£200.6m) release clause in his Barcelona contract in order to complete his move to the French capital, where he signed a five-year contract earlier this evening.

The transfer obliterates the old record of £89m for the most expensive deal in football history, and Pele - regarded by many as the greatest footballer of all time - was quick to wish Neymar luck in his new venture.

Neymar, 25, is currently fourth on the all-time list of goalscorers for Brazil, 25 behind Pele.
