Barcelona book their place in the FIFA World Club World Cup final as they defeat Qatari club Al-Sadd 4-0 in Yokohama.

Barcelona have earned a place in the FIFA Club World Cup final following a 4-0 defeat of Al-Sadd in Yokohama.

Adriano managed to score twice for the Catalan club as they booked their place in Sunday's final against Brazilian side Santos.

Two mistakes from Al-Sadd goalkeeper Mohamed Saqr allowed Adriano to put Barcelona two goals ahead at the break.

Pep Guardiola's side continued their dominance in the second half as Seydou Keita and Maxwell scored a goal apiece to complete the rout in a match where the European Champions were barely troubled.

It was not all good news for Barcelona however, as the game was overshadowed by an injury to Spanish striker David Villa which was later to be confirmed as a broken leg.
