Barcelona would be open to offers of around £45m for Samuel Umtiti this summer, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly open to offers for central defender Samuel Umtiti.

The 25-year-old starred for the Spanish giants during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 campaigns following a switch from Lyon in the summer of 2016.

Umtiti struggled to show his best form for the Catalan outfit last term, however, with injuries and a loss of form seeing Clement Lenglet become Gerard Pique's preferred partner in central defence.

Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the France international as they look to improve their defensive unit in this summer's transfer window.

According to Sport, Barca would be prepared to sell the 2018 World Cup winner if they received an offer in the region of £45m.

Umtiti, who has also been linked with Arsenal, only signed a new deal with Ernesto Valverde's side last June and is contracted to the club until the summer of 2023.
