Paris Saint-Germain want Neymar to stay?

Paris Saint-Germain are keen for Neymar to stay at the club this summer but would demand an improvement from the Brazilian, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen for Neymar to stay at the club beyond the end of this summer's transfer window.

The 27-year-old is said to have told PSG that he wants to leave ahead of the 2019-20 campaign and will threaten to walk out on the club unless he is sold back to Barcelona before July 8.

The attacker is already said to have agreed personal terms with Barca, where he scored 105 goals in 186 appearances before switching to PSG in 2017.

According to The Telegraph, the Ligue 1 champions are still keen for Neymar to stay in Paris but would demand that the Brazil international improves beyond his current level.

The report claims that recent analysis of his performances have determined that he has only been performing at 60% capacity, which PSG will demand changes with immediate effect if there is no transfer this summer.

Neymar, who was ruled out of Brazil's Copa America campaign with an ankle injury, has scored 51 goals in 58 appearances for PSG in all competitions.

Recent reports have claimed that the French giants value the South American at £224m.
