Report: Barcelona consider Yannick Ferreira Carrasco move

A report claims that Barcelona are interested in signing Atletico Madrid's Belgian attacker Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.

The Belgian international joined Atletico from AS Monaco in the summer of 2015 and scored five times in 43 appearances for the capital club during his first season at the Vicente Calderon.

Carrasco has also started the new campaign in impressive form, scoring Atletico's winner in their 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

According to Sport, Atletico are not looking to sell the 23-year-old, but Barcelona are considering activating Carrasco's release clause, which stands in the region of £34m.

Carrasco started his professional career with Monaco after coming through Genk's youth system.
