Spanish midfielder Xavi will reportedly announce his decision to depart Barcelona after the World Cup this summer.
The 34-year-old has been with Barcelona since 1991, making 723 appearances for the Catalan outfit in all competitions.
However, the veteran was used sparingly last season and it is understood that he has been made aware that he will not be a key part of Luis Enrique's plans for the new season.
According to Sport, a press conference will be held when Xavi returns from international duty with Spain, who have already been eliminated from the World Cup ahead of their final group game against Australia.
Al-Arabi and Al-Sadd have both been strongly linked with a move.
