Roma and Everton will reportedly go head to head for the signature of Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo during this summer's transfer window.
The 20-year-old joined Barca from Toulouse in January 2019 but has largely struggled to make his mark at Camp Nou, featuring on just five occasions for the Spanish champions.
Todibo joined Schalke 04 on loan during the January transfer window and made seven appearances for the German outfit before the majority of European football was halted.
A recent report claimed that Everton were leading the race for the France Under-20 international, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Roma are also in the hunt for his signature.
The Italian outfit signed Carles Perez from the Catalan giants in January and are allegedly hopeful of using their strong relationship with the club to complete a deal for Todibo.
Barca, who will seemingly not be signing Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar during this summer's transfer window, appear to value the centre-back in the region of €25m (£21.9m).
