French club Bastia are chasing former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse, according to a report.
Cisse is currently with Russian Premier League side Kuban Krasnodar, whom he joined in July on a one-year contract after a loan spell at Al-Gharafa.
However, SportsDirectNews.com suggests that Bastia, who are 13th in Ligue 1, are looking to sign Cisse and have approached his current club regarding his availability.
Montpellier HSC have also confirmed their interest in the striker, with coach Rolland Courbis saying that he was an option for the club.
Cisse has scored five goals in 22 appearances so far this season.
