Team News: Three changes for Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola makes three changes to the side as they travel to Freiburg in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has made three changes to the side that visits Freiburg this afternoon.

The Bundesliga champions were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday by Barcelona, and the Spaniard has swapped Thiago Alcantara for Mario Gotze.

Sebastian Rode and Mitchell Weiser also come into the side in place of Philipp Lahm and Thomas Muller.

Robert Lewandowski continues to lead the line up top, while Xabi Alonso and Bastian Schweinsteiger retain their places in midfield.

Meanwhile, the relegation-threatened hosts, who can move three points clear of the Bundesliga drop zone with a win, have Admir Mehmedi and Karim Guede up front.

Freiburg: Burki; Gunter, Mitrovic, Krmas, Mujdza; Schmid, Darida, Hofler, Klaus; Guede, Mehmedi

Bayern: Neuer; Benatia, Rafinha, Boateng, Bernat; Rode, Gotze, Weiser, Alonso, Schweinsteiger; Lewandowski.
