Birmingham City dominate possession in the first half against Bristol City but go into the break locked in a goalless draw.

Birmingham City are level with Bristol City after 45 minutes despite dominating possession and creating chances to score.

Chris Burke came closest for the Blues when his shot beat Dean Gerken in the Bristol goal before being blocked on the line by Liam Fontaine.

Wade Elliot also forced a strong save from Gerken in the opening stages after brilliant work in a wide area from Marlon King.

Bristol edged their way into the match towards the end of the opening period when Albert Adomah forced Jack Butland into action with a drive from distance.
