Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Charlton Athletic and Birmingham City.

Charlton Athletic and Birmingham City meet in the Championship this weekend both in need of three points to kickstart a charge up the division.

The hosts go into the game firmly in mid-table but a win could take them as high as eight providing other results fall in their favour.

Birmingham currently lie in 16th place and could be drawn into a relegation battle with a few bad results, but they do have two wins on the spin to build on.

Manager Lee Clarke is likely to stick with his winning XI, handing starts to Marlon King and recent loan signing Wes Thomas up front.

Ricardo Fuller is expected to lead the Charlton attack after making a goalscoring return to the fold in last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.
