Team News: Jordan Rhodes left on Blackburn Rovers bench for Stoke City tie

Blackburn Rovers make eight changes to their side as they welcome Stoke City to Ewood Park for an FA Cup fifth-round tie, leaving Jordan Rhodes on the bench.

Blackburn Rovers have left Jordan Rhodes on the bench for their FA Cup fifth-round tie at home to Stoke City this afternoon.

The Scotland international is one of eight changes made by manager Gary Bowyer, with Josh King preferred as Rudy Gestede's strike partner.

Meanwhile, Mark Hughes has made just one change to his side as the 51-year-old returns to face his former club.

The only change made from the heavy 4-1 defeat to Manchester City in midweek comes in goal as Jack Butland replaces Asmir Begovic.

Blackburn: Eastwood; Henley, Duffy, Kilgallon, Olsson; Taylor, Cairney, Williamson, Marshall; Gestede, King
Subs: Steele, Spurr, Hanley, Rhodes, Varney, Evans, Conway

Stoke: Butland; Cameron, Muniesa, Wollscheid, Bardsley; Arnautovic, Nzonzi, Whelan, Moses; Crouch, Diouf
Subs: Sorensen; Wilkinson, Adam, Teixeira, Shenton, Palacios; Sidwell
