Blackpool to make decision on next permanent manager at end of season?

Blackpool reportedly decide not to appoint their new long-term manager until this summer.

Blackpool have reportedly decided not to appoint their new long-term manager until this summer.

Blackpool skipper Barry Ferguson has been in interim charge of the first team since Paul Ince was sacked in January and now looks set to keep the job until the end of the 2013-14 campaign.

The Seasiders have won just two games since the end of November and are currently 19th in the Championship, seven points above the relegation places.

According to Sky Sports News, the Blackpool board will only consider hastily bringing in a new face if the club plunges further into trouble and faces the drop.

The Tangerines will try to win their third straight home game when fellow strugglers Yeovil Town visit Bloomfield Road on Saturday.
