Preview: Blackpool vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole peers ahead to Sunday's Championship match between Blackpool and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Blackpool will pick up their first win in December if they beat Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow at Bloomfield Road.

Paul Ince's side have tumbled out of the top six in the Championship because of four losses and a draw in the final month of 2013.

Discipline has been a real problem for the Tangerines and manager Ince will be without centre-back Kirk Broadfoot for the next four games after his dismissal - Blackpool's ninth red card of the season - at the end of the 1-1 draw against Leeds United on Boxing Day.

Craig Cathcart will start in Broadfoot's place alongside Gary MacKenzie in defence.

Visitors Brighton have exactly the same points as Blackpool but are a place ahead in ninth because of their superior goal difference.

Manager Oscar Garcia was glad to see Leonardo Ulloa back among the goals despite Thursday's 3-2 defeat at Charlton Athletic.

The Argentinian should again lead the line for the Seagulls as Garcia has to make crucial selection decisions further back.

Tomasz Kuszczak is in contention to return between the sticks, while Gordon Greer and Adam El-Abd will fight it out to start alongside Matthew Upson at centre-back.
