Brighton & Hove Albion squeeze past Blackpool

Brighton & Hove Albion sneak past Blackpool in the Championship.

Brighton & Hove Albion have defeated Blackpool 1-0 at Bloomfield Road in the Championship.

Inigo Calderon scored on 38 minutes when his low shot crept over the line despite Matthew Gilks's attempt to stop it.

Leonardo Ulloa nearly gave the visitors the lead earlier when he rattled the post with a free kick on 20 minutes.

Thomas Ince wasted a good chance to get his side back into the game when he struck the wall with a free kick, before Gilks kept out Will Buckley's effort.
