Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe hails 'great win'

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe lavishes praise on Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie following his side's win over Sunderland.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has described his side's 2-0 victory against Sunderland in the Premier League as a "great win".

Goals from Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie gave the Cherries their first home win of the season, and Howe was quick to praise both players after the game.

"It feels really good after last week's defeat against Norwich. It was a great win," he told reporters.

"It was a brilliant finish and great centre-forward play from Callum Wilson. He has been excellent so far this season.

"It was a fantastic strike from Mat Ritchie. He sets himself up but I don't think anyone saw the finish coming. It was sublime."

The win moves the Cherries up to 11th in the Premier League table.
