Bournemouth midfielder David Brooks will make his Premier League debut against Cardiff City this afternoon.

The former Sheffield United man, who signed for the Cherries earlier this summer, begins alongside Dan Gosling and captain Andrew Surman.

Asmir Begovic continues as Eddie Howe's first-choice goalkeeper, while Nathan Ake, who has recovered from a toe injury, begins in defence.

Up front for the hosts, Josh Kingua and Callum Wilson begin, with Jermaine Defoe left on the substitutes' bench.

Instead, Neil Warnock fields Sol Bamba and Joe Ralls in midfield, with Junior Hoilett, new signing Bobby Reid and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing forming a front three going forward.

Fellow new arrivals Alex Smithies, Josh Murphy, Greg Cunningham and Victor Camarasa are all on the bench.
