Experienced goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan has admitted his 'delight' after signing a new contract with newly-promoted Bournemouth.
The 34-year-old missed the club's entire League One campaign with a shoulder injury, but the former Southend United stopper has been offered a new one-year extension.
He told the club's official website: "I applied myself like I always do in training and whatever game I've got to play I just do what I've done for 17 years.
"The way I apply myself is how I do it every day, and fortunately for me I was lucky enough that the manager saw that, so I am thoroughly delighted."
Bournemouth finished second in League One.
