Brighton & Hove Albion are drawing 0-0 with Bolton Wanderers after seeing their penalty saved and the ball hit the woodwork on three occasions.

Brighton & Hove Albion are level with Bolton Wanderers at 0-0 at the break, despite being awarded a penalty and hitting the woodwork on three occasions.

The home side were awarded a penalty after 14 minutes for a handball by Darren Pratley. Ashley Barnes stepped up, but saw his effort from the spot saved by Adam Bogdan.

Brighton piled on the pressure and nearly took the lead when Andrea Orlandi's curling strike hit the woodwork on 18 minutes. A minute later, Brighton hit the woodwork again, with Dean Hammond's shot going close.

Craig Mackail-Smith hit the woodwork for the third time for Brighton on 36 minutes when his header crashed off the bar.

The half-time whistle blew with the score surprisingly still at 0-0.
