Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly interested in signing Clermont striker and Guinea international Mohamed Bayo.
The Seagulls currently have forwards Neal Maupay, Aaron Connolly, Danny Welbeck and Jurgen Locadia among their ranks, however Graham Potter is believed to be keen to bolster his squad further.
According to The Sun, scouts from Brighton attended Clermont's away encounter against Lorient earlier this month, in which Bayo scored the opening goal in a 1-1 draw.
The 23-year-old, who is valued at around £10m, has been on Brighton's radar for some time, while West Ham United and Bordeaux are also understood to be monitoring his situation.
Bayo scored 22 goals for Clermont last season, which helped the French club clinch promotion from the second tier for the first time in their history.
The striker has also begun the new campaign brightly, scoring five goals in his opening eight Ligue 1 matches.
