David Jones confident of Burnley improvement

David Jones believes that Burnley will come good this season, despite starting their Premier League campaign with two successive defeats.

Burnley midfielder David Jones has stated his belief that the team will come good, despite starting their Premier League return with two successive defeats.

The Clarets lost 3-1 at home to Chelsea last Monday, before following that up with a 1-0 defeat to Swansea City on Saturday.

"We've had two games and we need to learn quickly," Clubcall.com quotes Jones as saying.

"We've had two games where we've had sort of a bedding-in period. Obviously we wanted to pick points up in those games but now we need to move on quickly and look forward to the next game."

Burnley face Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup this evening at Turf Moor.
