Ole Gunnar Solskjaer determined to "bounce back" with Cardiff City next season

Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to "bounce back" to the Premier League next season following their relegation to the Championship.

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that he and his players are determined to move back into the Premier League after getting relegated to the Championship last weekend.

A 3-0 defeat to Newcastle United confirmed the Welsh outfit's place at the bottom of the table last Saturday.

"It's a great chance to rebuild a team," Solskjaer said in Friday's press conference. "Sometimes you have to take a step back to push on - we'll have a pre-season and time to prepare.

"The experience of playing in the Premier League has given everyone a taste of it. It makes the desire to bounce back even stronger. We focus on Sunday first, however. We want to give the fans a final-day positive to enjoy first and foremost."

Cardiff's final match is at home to Chelsea.
