Cardiff City's Don Cowie: 'We can't feel sorry for ourselves'

Cardiff City midfielder Don Cowie urges his teammates to keep their heads up following Sunday's damaging defeat to Sunderland.

Cardiff City midfielder Don Cowie has insisted that the team need to keep their heads up, despite relegation from the Premier League looming.

The Welsh outfit have dropped to the bottom of the table following Sunday's 4-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Sunderland.

"We can't feel sorry for ourselves," BBC Sport quotes Cowie as saying. "We've got six points to play for. If we can get the points who knows what can happen."

The Bluebirds are two points away from safety with a goal difference of minus 38.
