Cardiff City striker Federico Macheda is reportedly a transfer target for Serie A newcomers Pescara.
The Italian joined Cardiff from Manchester United in 2014 and scored eight times in 25 appearances during his first season with the Championship outfit.
The 24-year-old failed to score in eight appearances last term, however, and it is understood that he will be able to leave Cardiff for a minimal fee in this summer's transfer window.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, talks between Pescara and Macheda's agent will take place on Friday afternoon to determine whether a deal can be completed.
Macheda, a former Italy Under-21 international, came through the youth system at Lazio before joining Man United, where he spent six years before moving on to Cardiff.
