Jose Mourinho: 'It doesn't matter who we draw in Champions League semi-finals'

Jose Mourinho insists that it "doesn't matter" who Chelsea will face in the Champions League semi-finals following their victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that it "doesn't matter" who his team will have to go up against in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The Blues secured their place in the final four following a 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-final second leg at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea qualified for the next round on away goals due to a 3-3 aggregate scoreline, while Mourinho's former club Real Madrid also made it through at the expense of Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid will all discover their fates when they compete in their respective quarter-finals this evening.

When asked in a post-match press conference about the prospect of facing Real, Mourinho told reporters: "It doesn't matter. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico, Bayern, Manchester - it doesn't matter.

"We are in the semi-finals. If the quarter-finals had eight fantastic teams, imagine the four that will reach the semi-finals. Anything can happen.

"A big opponent is waiting for us in the semi-final but it doesn't matter who. They know we are a team with a special spirit even if we are not in the maximum of our potential."

Mourinho has never won the elite European trophy with Chelsea.
