Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas eyes Tuesday's Champions League tie with Napoli as a potential turning point for his side's season.

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has earmarked Tuesday's Champions League tie with Napoli as a game in which they can stop the rot.

The Blues have now gone four matches without a win in all competitions following their 1-1 FA Cup fifth round draw against Birmingham, a run which has piled more pressure on the under-fire Portuguese manager.

However, while Villas-Boas acknowledges his side's poor form, he is eyeing the tough European tie against Napoli as a chance to turn Chelsea's season around.

"You need an extra mental push to feel that confidence in a different way, it comes with results and at the moment results are not happening so until you get out of that cycle with a win it perpetuates a bit," said the former Porto manager.

"We don't have a lot of time between training and departure for Napoli. Bearing in mind the quality of the Napoli side we think of that game now, focus our heads on the Champions League tie which is extremely important and hopefully do much, much better.

"Napoli is a strong team but we are a strong team."

Chelsea currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, level on points with fourth place Arsenal.
