Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is hopeful that Raphael Varane will be available for their Champions League semi-final second leg against Chelsea on Wednesday night.
Varane was forced off the field at the interval of Saturday's La Liga clash with Osasuna, having suffered an injury to his right leg in the latter stages of the opening 45 minutes.
The France international has therefore emerged as a doubt for Madrid's trip to Stamford Bridge, where they will attempt to advance to the final of the Champions League.
Zidane, though, remains hopeful that the centre-back will overcome the issue in time for the second leg.
"I hope Varane has a small thing, he thinks it is a small thing and I hope so," the Madrid boss told Movistar when questioned after the Osasuna clash.
Madrid, who are expected to have captain Sergio Ramos back in their starting XI against Thomas Tuchel's side, drew 1-1 with Chelsea in the first leg of their last-four clash in the Spanish capital on April 27.
