Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta says that the team cannot afford to make a mistake during the Premier League run-in.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has insisted that the team cannot put a foot wrong in the final stretch of the Premier League season.

The West London outfit have slipped further behind in the race for the top four following back-to-back defeats.

On Sunday, Antonio Conte's team were beaten 1-0 by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

As it stands, the club are fifth in the top-flight table, five points adrift of the Champions League spots with 10 league games left to play.

"We have lost a lot of games already and we don't have space to make another error," football.london quotes Azpilicueta as saying.

"We have to go game by game, try to win all of our fixtures and qualify for the Champions League. We have a massive game against Crystal Palace at home on Saturday and we have to focus on the nine games we have left to get that Champions League spot."

The Blues have not won a game since February 16 when they earned a 4-0 win over Hull City in the FA Cup.
