Demba Ba says that certain Chelsea players at the club are keen for Jose Mourinho to return to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea striker Demba Ba has said that a number of players would be happy if Jose Mourinho rejoined the club in the summer.

With interim boss Rafael Benitez entering the final few games of his temporary tenure, rumours have suggested that the Portuguese will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season in favour of returning to Stamford Bridge.

Ba, who joined the club in January, has revealed that Mourinho is the topic of conversation for a number of players in the Blues dressing room.

"The players at Chelsea are all talking about the situation and telling stories about when Jose was at the club before," Ba told The Sun.

"They are fans of his and love him as a person and as a coach. He is still greatly appreciated here."
