Chelsea have 'struck a gentleman's agreement' with Maurizio Sarri for him to become their new manager, according to reports from Italy.
The Napoli coach has been heavily linked with the manager's job at Stamford Bridge, despite the fact that Antonio Conte remains in charge.
Sarri is, however, still under contract at Stadio San Paolo despite the Serie A outfit having appointed Carlo Ancelotti last month.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Sarri held talks with Chelsea in London on Friday, along with his agent, where an agreement was reached.
The report suggests that the 59-year-old will receive a three-year contract on wages of €6m (£5.3m) per season.
Sarri spent three years at Napoli after joining the club in 2015.
