Antonio Conte lined up as replacement for Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho?

Chelsea will reportedly target Italy coach Antonio Conte should they sack Jose Mourinho.

Italy boss Antonio Conte has reportedly moved to the top of Chelsea's wishlist should they part ways with Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese coach has so far survived the axe, despite the Blues' poor season, which has left them two points above the relegation zone in the Premier League.

Some reports have claimed that Chelsea bosses will hold talks with Mourinho after their Champions League match against Porto on Wednesday night.

According to The Independent, Chelsea will try to poach Conte if they decide to sack Mourinho, who needs his side to earn at least a draw against Porto in order to progress into the last 16 of the European competition.

Conte's contract as Italy boss expires in 2016 and the 46-year-old is expected to stay on to lead the team at the European Championships in France next summer.
